BU Jurists’ Successful Participation in International Law Fest-2019
A 4-member team named BU Jurists from Britannia University Law Department successfully took part in International Law Fest organized by NILS Bangladesh (The Network for International Law Students, Bangladesh) in collaboration with the Centre of the Study of Genocide and Justice and Liberation War Museum. The theme of the fest was “Genocide Never Again”. The fest was held at Liberation War Museum, Dhaka on 4th -6th April, 2019. The fest was fragmented into a number of segments. A segment was dedicated to a moot court competition on International Humanitarian Law (IHL). A total of 16 teams from different universities of Bangladesh participated in the event. The green-horn team from BU Law Department comprising Sharah Tabassum (observer)Tamanna Ferdousi (mooter), Hasan MahmudTareq (mooter) and Mahasweta Das Sithi (researcher) has gained a good experience from this competition and shown their massive mooting potentialities. Thanks to team BU Jurists for your hard work and excellent performance in the competition.
