School of Business @ Study Tour to Sylhet
A remarkable study tour was organized by the School of Business, Britannia University. The duration of tour was from 09 September 2019 to 12 September 2019. It’s an excursion to Sylhet that focuses on making the storyteller by exploring the breath-taking places of Bangladesh like Bichanakandi, Ratargul, Jaflong and so on. A mesmerizing environment with heavy rainfall remove the tiredness of the long journey. Teachers and students experienced boat riding and climbing hill to touch the fresh water of waterfall. Both students and teachers enjoyed the natural beauty of Sylhet with the appealing cups of tea in several times. A thousand of clicks are considered as the evidences of realizing the heaven in earth. Unloading boredom, having palatable foods, impregnable friendship, up surging knowledge and experience are the vital things to achieve. The most important learning(s) of the tour was to know about the collection, grinding, and transportation process of commercially distributed stones procured from Bichanakandi of Sylhet. The other learning includes tea cultivation, procurement, process and market at home and abroad. The divine blessing(s) were felt by the faculty members and students during their pilgrimage or jiyarat to majar of Hazrat Shahjalal. Students are thankful to the faculty members especially to their Dean and Chairman Dr. Surajit Sarbabidya to be part of their experiential and joyous tour.
