A seminar on “Investment Opportunities in the Capital Market: Present & Future“ was jointly organized by the Department of Business Administration (DBA), Britannia University and LankaBangla Securities at room number 804 of the Faculty of Business Studies on 24th August, 2022 at 11.00 am. The faculty members and students of DBA and the Department of English (DoL) attended the seminar through their interactive participation. The faculty members of the Department of Law and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) also participated in the event. Mohammad Hasibul Hasan, Senior Manager, Trade Execution Department introduced the role of LankaBangla Securities as the leading brokerage of the country. Mr. Nazir Ahmed, Senior Manager (Branch In-Charge), Branch Operations, Cumilla explained the facilities for investors in Cumilla Branch of the LankaBangla Securities together with various investment tips and techniques for the prospective investors. Mr. Adib Islam Khan Elaborated the methods of investing and all necessary supporting tools available with the branch and e-platform of the LankaBangla Securities for making effective fundamental and technical analysis of the shares and stocks before making wise investment for profit. Mr. Mohammad Amir Hossain, General Manager & Regional Chief, LankaBangla Securities, Chattogram contributed capital market insights with his decades of share market investment experience and provided effective tips for job, career and investment in the capital market. Mr. S. A. R. Md. Muinul Islam, Chief Technology Officer & Director of the LankaBangla Securities explained the multi various uses of technologies in stock trading for fruitful outcome and career preparation for the upcoming capital market professionals. Both the students and faculty members took part in question and answer session. Mr. Khandoker Saffat Reza, Chief Executive Officer & Director of the LankaBangla Securities delivered his speech with the pin points of capital market investment opportunities and the support facilities of the LankaBangla Securities for the investors. He emphasized the role of the LankaBangla Securities in improving the profiles of the business graduates through such continuous educative endeavors as a part of social commitment of their company and assured all sorts of supports for the students, faculty members and staff of the Britannia University. Finally, Prof. Dr. Surajit Sarbabidya, Vice Chancellor (In-Charge), Britannia University conveyed his heartfelt thanks to the top management of the LankaBangla Securities who came from long way to contribute in the seminar for the valuable inputs in graduating students’ career development and delivered his speech by summarizing the learning from the speakers of the session with some live examples and advised the graduating students to take preparation for coping with the challenges of the capital market through intensive preparation and investment decisions as explained and recommended by the speakers. The seminar ended with vote of thanks to the dignitaries, students and faculty members by Mr. Khandoker Saffat Reza, Chief Executive Officer & Director of the LankaBangla Securities who assured to organize seminar and other development series in the upcoming days to enrich students’ knowledge and skill base.
