Freshers’ Reception - Fall 2021
The Department of Business Administration (DBA) under the School of Business (SoB) of Britannia University organized Freshers Reception Program for the newly admitted students of Fall-2021 semester at University campus on 18th October, 2021 at 11:00 am. Prof. Dr. Surajit Sarbabidya, honorable Vice Chancellor (in charge) of BU, Dean of School of Business and Chairman of the DBA, inaugurated the program. Presence of the other faculty members of the DBA including Mrs. Khaleda Akter (Lecturer), Mrs. Tania Akter (Lecturer), Mr. Md. Saddam Hossain (Lecturer) and Mrs. Fatema Tuz Zohra (Lecturer) and some current students from different batches were present in this event. The session was hosted and started by the welcome speech of Mrs. Fatema Tuz Zohra (Lecturer). Then the new students have been received by their seniors with flowers. The session was continued with the guidelines and instructions provided by faculty members in a friendly manner toward the freshers. Mr. Md. Saddam Hossain (Lecturer) gave the basic information about semester system, course offering and class routine, Mrs. Khaleda Akter (Lecturer) provided some guidelines of exam systems and the evaluation process, grading system in detail, Mrs. Fatema Tuz Zohra (Lecturer) gave speech about different webinars, seminars conducted by SoB, and Mrs. Tania Akter (Lecturer) shared the code of conduct for the students to follow and the success stories of the Alumni of SoB in order to motivate the freshers. The program has ended with the valuable speech of the Honorable Session Chair Prof. Dr. Surajit Sarbabidya, the Dean and Chairman, School of Business. He welcomed the freshers along with the directions of continuing their journey with the SoB. All the faculty members of the DBA gave their assurance of cooperation towards to the students. At the end of the session the Department of Business Administration wished them good luck for their new journey. The program ended with the serving of delicious refreshments for the students, faculty members and staff.
