Department of CSE, Britannia University successfully organized a webinar on “Preparation for the job according to the rules & regulations of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC)” on 13th September, 2021 to inform the students about different techniques regarding preparing themselves for participating in different types of Job under BPSC (Bangladesh Public Service Commission). In the session, Prof. Dr. Surajit Sarbabidya, Vice Chancellor (In-charge) was present as Chief Guest; Dr. Md. Milan Hossain, Director, IQAC of the University was present as Special Guest. The session was chaired by Mr. Mozammel Haque, Head, Department of CSE. Mr. Mohammad Fuad Miah, Deputy Director, BCS (Audit & Accounts) & Mr. Shajadul Kabir, BCS(General Education) were present as keynote speakers in the session. All faculty members and students of CSE Department and other departments participated in the webinar.

The webinar was coordinated and hosted by Rita Akter, Faculty, Department of CSE and Mr. Masum Bakaul, Faculty, Department of CSE, provided technical support for this webinar. At the start of the webinar the host introduced the keynote speakers to everyone. She informed every one of the aims and objectives of the webinar and invited Mr. Mohammad Jahed, Lecturer, Department of CSE to deliver his welcome speech. In his welcome speech Mr. Mohammad Jahed thanked chief guest, special guest, session chair, teachers and all other participants for joining the webinar. In his speech he gave emphasis on career planning, punctuality to be successful in professional life. He instructed the students to follow the advice and study plans shared by the keynote speaker. Special guest Dr. Md. Milan Hossain thanked the organizer committee of the webinar and delivered his valuable speech summarizing the dimensions of the present government job. He instructed the students to listen to the instructions delivered by honorable keynote speakers .Prof. Dr. Surajit Sarbabidya in his speech as a chief guest thanked the department of CSE for taking this kind of initiative. On behalf of Britannia University he thanked the keynote speakers for attending the webinar and instructed the organizer of the webinar to continue the efforts that will help the students to be prepared in professional life.

Mr. Mohammad Fuad Miah, Deputy Director, BCS (Audit & Accounts) in his long speech shared his personal experience in the journey of the BCS exam. He had an instructive and informative speech in which he tried to motivate the students who are aspiring to establish themselves as BCS cadres. He gave instruction regarding the study plan to be successful in the BCS preliminary examination.

Mr. Shajadul Kabir, BCS (General Education) in his informative speech discussed the present aspects of government jobs. He shared the subject wise study plan he had followed in his BCS journey. He motivated the students with his personal life experience with the BCS exam.

After the end of the session, the session chair, Mr. Mozammel Haque, Additional Director of IQAC, Chairman, Department of CSE gave his ending speech. He thanked the keynote speakers and other participants for attending the webinar. He made a summary of the contents mentioned by the keynote speakers. He instructed the respective committee to arrange this kind of webinar in future. He wished that the students would follow the instructions given by the keynote speakers.
