Webinar on “Developing Career in Networking Sector”
Department of CSE, Britannia University had successfully organized a Webinar on “Developing Career in Networking Sector” on 26th May, 2021 at 11:00 am using the Zoom online platform. The students of Summer 18 to Fall 19 (CSE) had participated in this event. Honorable Chairman of the Department of CSE Mr. Mozammel Haque was present as the Chief Guest. The 1.5 hours long live session was hosted and conducted by Mr. Md. Zahidur Rahman, faculty member Department of CSE. At the beginning, the honorable host discussed the purpose and overall construction of the event.
In the first session of the webinar, Speakers discussed in brief about the job opportunities of CSE graduates in networking sector. Speakers also discussed the job responsibilities of several job positions like Network Administrators, Network Engineer, Network Analyst and Network Programmer etc. which are available in both private and public sector. Speakers further discussed about the recruiters & recruitment policy and guided students about the preparation for the job sector.
In the second session, Speakers discussed in brief about some popular Networking Certifications for Network Administrator such as RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator), RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and MTCNA (MikroTik Certified Network Associate) etc. They discussed in brief about the certifications, course content, exam policy, challenges, importance, job scope and also provided the institutions details from where interested students can start their learning and sit for the examination.
Honorable Chairman of the department of CSE, Britannia University, Mr. Mozammel Haque in his discussion, mentioned about several webinars, which are organized by our department in this semester. He discussed about several skills to be achieved to become successful in developing career in networking sector. He also discussed in brief about basic computer skill, programming skill, problem-solving capacity, analytical skills, decision-making skill etc. and encouraged students to improve these skills level for their own benefit. He further shared a success story of his relative who became successful as network professional and encouraged students to be sincere and focused about the career from now.
The session ended with thanks to the students and guest by the host Mr. Md. Zahidur Rahman, Faculty, Department of CSE.
