Webinar on "Ethics & Humanity in Student life & Career"
The Department of CSE, Britannia University had successfully organized a Webinar On "Ethics & Humanity in Student life & Career". The students of Summer 17, Spring 19, Fall 19 and Spring 20 (CSE) had participated in this event. The webinar was held on 21st March, 2021 at 07:15 pm using the Zoom cloud meeting platform. It was hosted by our faculty Rita Akter.
The webinar focused on the fundamental terms of ethics, humanity, student life & career. In this session, speaker discussed the notions of ethics & humanity, moral values, moral code, morality, ethical behaviors & integrity, importance of humanity as a student, relationship between ethics & human action.
Speaker also discussed five Principles of ethics, careers in ethics & social justice, encouraging socially- responsible business & social entrepreneurship, incorporating values into academic research, scholarship & higher education. Human values & professional ethics were also discussed here.
Finally speaker discussed needs of human being, meaning of human life, nature of human values, angles of values, types of values & ethics and how ethics contribute to human well-being?
The session ended with thanks to the students by the host Rita Akter, Lecturer, Department of CSE.
