CSE STUDY TOUR-2020: RANGAMATI AND BANDARBAN
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Britannia University made a successful and amazing study tour at some interesting places of Chittagong division. All the juniors, seniors and teachers passed a very good time together. The study tour was four night and three day stand, which started at 24th February night and ended at 27th February.
The department arranged the study tour in the aim of remove the boredom of long term bookish study from student, helping students to learn through visual experience and to explore new things from the nature and people of different culture.
The whole tour was divided into three parts. First day (25th Feb), the whole team visited the capital city of Chittagong hill tracts, Rangamati. First day morning the bus arrived at Rangamati and after getting fresh, we leave the hotel for Kaptai Lake by boat named ‘Sampan’. During the boat journey all the teachers and students passed an enjoyable time by singing and gossiping. We visited about eight tourist spots via boat including hanging bridge, shuvolong falls, the Buddha’s monument, peda ting ting restaurant etc.
After taking lunch and some rest we left behind the beautiful Rangamati for Bandarban. We was unknown about the exciting moment that waiting for us.
The second day (26th Feb), morning after reaching Bandarban, we took ‘Chander Gari’ to visit Shoilo propat waterfall. Then, we visited Buddha Dhatu Jadi which is the largest Buddhist temple in Bangladesh also known as ‘Swarna Mandir’. We also visited Meghla. There we met some tribe people and talked about their culture and food habit, they were so friendly. After taking lunch, we visited Nilacol for the night view of the whole city. The city was twinkling like stars. That night, we also visited Circuit House. Returning from Circuit house, seniors and the faculty arranged some competition for everyone and everyone enjoyed the competition.
On the third day (27th Feb) morning, we again took ‘Chander Gari’ for Nil Giri which is the tallest peaks and beautiful place of Bangladesh. The view was unexpectedly beautiful, we met flying cloud and touch them.The whole view was something beyond the world.
And finally after doing some shopping from the local markets we left behind the beautiful Chittagong with lots of unforgettable memories.
